GREEK 101
Before getting involved in the greek life its good to know some background information on the greek system itself. This page will give you some basic understanding on greek alphabet and greek lingo.

Greek Lingo
Fraternity: A male brotherhood.
​
Sorority: A female sisterhood.
​
To Cross: The transition from a pledge to an official brother of the fraternity you are trying to join.

To Pledge: When you are in the process of becoming a brother.

Chapter: A term used to describe a group of brothers at their campus.

Interested Gentlemen: what we use to refer to gentlemen that are interested in becoming part of the fraternity.

Interest Group: the group of gentlemen.

....and one more thing we only go by Lambdas or by Lambda Theta Phi for our nicknames!
