Lambda Theta Phi was born to promote the spirit of brotherhood, to protect the rights of Latino students in his/her quest for an education, to promote the rich Latino culture, and to maximize leadership potentials to provide guidance to our community. Membership is open to all males, regardless of, race culture, or creed. What is an Interest group?
Interest Groups of Lambda Theta Phi are organized as part of the preliminary phase to the induction process. We Do Not Rush. We want to make sure that potential future brothers of our fraternity get more familiar with the greek system as well as our fraternity and its history. Also the group of interested men will learn to bond, learn to work as an organized group, learn more about the Fraternity, and get to know the current brothers.
Does it cost money to join the interest group?
It costs no money to be part of the interest group the only thing that we require from interested gentlemen is a little bit of their time to hang out, have socials, study, attend fundraisers, do some community service with us throughout the quarter.... and of course a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 by the time you are ready to pledge.
What Does Lambda Theta Phi Do?
Lambda Theta Phi, as an organization, is two fold. On one hand, we are a service organization. As such we perform community service, educational workshops, mentor programs, fundraisers, and much more. On the other hand we are also a social organization that holds functions such as socials, weekend retreats, etc. For the past 4 years Alpha Delta Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc. has won Poly Gold which is awarded to the best Fraternity on campus at Cal Poly Pomona.
How Do I Join?!?!
Lambda Theta Phi has always strived for a quality brotherhood that no other fraternity can match, we always strive for quality vs quantity. Once you cross and become a brother of Lambda Theta Phi you are a brother for life we don't kick out brothers because of money or dues, this fraternity extends beyond the undergraduate level and even beyond graduate school; its a family away from family and a brotherhood for life.
